At the end of a very busy 2 days, parent partners will have the opportunity to enjoy a social meal and engaging conversation. By way of an open mic (brought to them - not fixed) parent partners will have an opportunity to share thoughts and anecdotes about their family and research experience. If this does not happen naturally then an ice breaker and conversation starter topics will be presented by the moderator.

Parents will have a chance to share their story and thoughts with each other. If needed, conversation prompts will be shared by the moderator.

Format:
Networking event that will include an open mic-style discussion

Objectives:
1. For parents to share their experiences as a parent/caregiver.
2. For parents to share their experiences regarding their involvement in the CHILD-BRIGHT Network.
3. For parents to make a personable connection with the CHILD-BRIGHT Parent Mentor, and make connections with other parents.
4. For parents to provide input on the direction of the mentor role as it moves into its second year.
5. For parents to feel a sense of community among the parents in attendance.
